(c) the promoter has the first right to negotiate a non-exclusive or exclusive paid licence or a paid option for a university IP and/or IP seal, provided that the promoter agrees that the promoter must bear, in any license, option or similar agreement, all costs of preparing, filing, prosecuting and maintaining patents or copyrights on those rights (“right of negotiation”).
